Great job this weekend in Vegas! We played hard, especially the rookies, but we still partied harder. Keys were lost, some rays were caught, buffets devoured, and many Jäger were bombed. I hope you all have caught up on sleep and re-hydrated yourselves because Monday night practice is still on tonight. Remember to bring gas $ for your drivers as well. See you all at 6.

Great practice last night.
During the golden 70s, we threw 14 turnovers out of 1540 throws. That is a 99.9% completion rate!! We would win nationals flat out if we throw and catch like that the rest of the year. What caused the difference between last night and our normal completion rate of about 40%? Probably a combination of pressure, fear, trust, and focus.
Homework: Spend 30 minutes this week working on your fear
1)DO WORK. For example, since my biggest fear was that “I am a bad coach”, I will spend time improving as a coach. I will spend time preparing practices and reading about ultimate, leadership, and coaching. What will you do to increase your confidence and decrease your biggest fear?
2) Ask and trust your teammates to help you. For example, I will ask some people for feedback and trust that they will give me honest and sincere criticism. I really won’t know how I am doing unless you guys help me. How will ask your teammates to help you overcome your biggest fear?
