Nightlife Ultimate

Hey guys,

Plenty to talk about this week as the team gets ready for some exciting times.

1. Warrior Dash: March 31st. We are volunteering at this day long event where u get to watch people make fools of themselves, and hang out with your team for cash money! This is our biggest fundraiser of the year and is why our dues are so low. The sign up sheet is on the tournaments page. If you don’t do it, there will be repercussions, so get on it.
2. KG’s Workouts: Week 2 of his crazy awesome workouts is in full swing! Congrats to Tek, Marvin, Travis, Vandy, Silver for doin work last week. I challenge everyone to the new and improved workouts this week! Good luck  
3. Vegas Tournament: Last time I’m saying this, Vendetta, Tatts, Andrew, Ringo, Ian, and Yin. Please fill out the Vegas doc on the tournaments page so we know how many people are going!
4. To be able to play for the rest of the year, starting with Vegas, it is required to register with USA Ultimate. This foundation is this Ultimate Player’s Association and requires you to register as a college player before participating at anymore tournaments. As soon as you register they will give you an ID number. Send that to Tournament Director Arl. Sign Up Here
5. Saturday is the last UCI Men’s Basketball game of the year so let’s get out there and support! UCI vs. CSU Northridge, 7pm at the Bren

Another great pick up opportunity has presented itself today. Rocket Sauce Pick Up at Settler’s Park is now open to our team! This is a night pick up game that happens weekly on Monday nights from about 6:30pm to 8 or 9pm. Need directions? Google Maps Settler’s Park

Saturday’s scrimmages ran smoothly with a win over Cal State Fullerton and tough loss against Cal State Long Beach. Thank you to everyone who was there. To those of you that were not, this is unacceptable. I organized and fought for this event to be at UCI so that we could have 100% attendance. We were supposed to have two teams ( A and B ) however, only 4 of the 16 B team players were there…

It’s a holiday tomorrow, therefore we will be switching combined A/B team practice to Friday for this week. With all your free time, come out to Fullerton Pick Up with myself and KG at noon tomorrow. If you need a ride let me know and I will arrange it.

Hey Gentlemen,

Great job today! We were very happy with the turn out and support for the fundraising event today. Selling deep-fried Oreos is luhgit!

Be at the fields at 11am tomorrow morning to warm up. We will be splitting teams to make up for the spot lost by USC.

Game Schedule is as follows:

So the first two games will be between, UCI B / LB, and UCI A / Fullerton.

Next games will be between UCI B / UCI A, and Fullerton / LB

The last round will be between UCI B / Fullerton, and UCI A /LB

The rounds will be to 17, and be capped at 110 minutes with 10 minutes between rounds.

First Round: 12pm, Second Round: 2pm, Third Round 4PM

One last reminder, if you aren’t able to make it out tomorrow you must email the captains and coaches. Get some rest tonight cuz its gonna get crazy tomorrow! Can’t wait!
